This is the story of Pinocchio, a chronicle about the formation of the soul, the struggle against temptations, and the arduous path that separates a piece of wood from a human heart. In a small Italian village with cobbled streets and narrow workshops, lived an old carpenter named Geppetto. He was a man with knobby hands and a lonely heart who, to alleviate his melancholy, decided to carve a puppet from pine wood. However, as soon as he began to sculpt, something extraordinary happened: the wood began to laugh at his tickling and protest the blows of the mallet. Geppetto, astonished, finished the figure of a boy whom he named Pinocchio. But before he could teach him to walk, the doll took on a life of its own, kicked him, and ran away into the street.
